to summarize:

I had sharp-rosee as a mutual for a few months in mid-2024. She left a couple of responses to my posts and interacted maybe a handful of times (links further down). At that point, I was pretty isolated—I’d been active on radblr for around 10 years. My blog got some interaction, but it was a pretty dead blog. Mostly, I was writing to collect my thoughts or vent.

I’d been posting selfies for years, but since they didn’t attract much attention, it felt relatively safe. My blog was usually behind a login screen, and I’d taken steps to prevent reverse image searches or people using my photos to catfish. Out of boredom, I’d started sharing random, silly videos on Tumblr, and around the same time, I was going through my blog archive.  That’s when I came across some old mena posts and revisited her tags (she couldn’t help herself from shaming other women on here via her stupid blog! It made her feel really powerful) and saw a post where she continued to antagonize me despite having blocked me earlier. I called her a ‘brown bitch’ in anger and the fact that i had shared pics of myself meant that these shitbags could make roughly 8 burner blogs to intimidate and harass me then. It eventually became like 10-12 burner blogs.

From September 2024 onward, she created at least eight burner blogs to harass me and even tried (unsuccessfully) to recruit more people to pile on using a notorious site.

Anyway, I reported at least 10-12 separate main blogs sharp-rosee et al made to threaten and intimidate me over a few weeks. She dug up socmedia she'd only know about if she was following me for months. Shhe continued to be a follower despite not liking what i spent time talkign about on my personal blog and her psychopathic vengefulness explains why. It was unclear what the point of it was other than to be an insane weirdo with a huge chip on their shoulder. I should have screenshotted each report to help substantiate that claim but I didn't. I sent her a message after seeing her post in a rad community like two months ago, maybe? And she speaks in similar way and makes the same dumb, unsubstantiated accusations that you see in the imageboard screenshots.

Sometime around april 5, I saw her gloating about doxxing some TRA troll and talked to radicalite, the creator of a radfem community on tumblr about it. That led to this amazing feminist being banned from the radfem community. I sent her a message for the first time around this time and lo and behold, the burner blog harassment started again!

Where are the bi specific slurs?

I’m not sure if it counts as “institutional privilege,” but when it comes to LGBT funding, despite bisexuals being around 50% of the LGBT community, we’ve only been given 0.017% of all LGBT funding over a span of 40 years.

The main “privilege” that lesbians and gay men have over bisexuals is the fact that your sexualities are accepted and understood as individual, discrete sexualities.

Both straight and LG people, being monosexual, refuse to believe in bisexuality as an individual sexuality. Instead, both reduce us to objects that can only be validated through the sex of our partners. If we have a same-sex partner, we’re erased as “gay.” If we have an opposite-sex partner, we’re erased as “straight.” If we have no partner, then we’re erased as “straight” yet again.

If you don’t mean to imply such things exist, stop saying biphobia exists.

Because as soon as others take biphobia seriously, they’ll be forced to share the spotlight, for others to say, “both homophobia and biphobia is bad,” and they only want people to talk about homophobia, like people are doing right now. 

It sure feels like “oppression” if someone else’s liberation means that instead of being the sole spotlight, they have to accept that others have it as bad as they do, too.

 And yet biphobia is mostly used to complain about gay people, especially lesbians. 

Tell me, genius, how are bisexuals supposed to fight for our liberation when even the rest of the LGB, our supposed allies and community, won’t allow us to speak? How can we defeat heterosexist patriarchy when we’re constantly and deliberately silenced by biphobic LG? 

It’s also primarily lesbians because women are the ones who speak the most about social justice online, and bisexual men are even more erased than bisexual women. Biphobic lesbians are the ones controlling the conversation and demanding that bisexuals keep our internalised biphobia so that we serve you instead of being your equals. It’s been this way for decades, and you’re just continuing that time-honoured, biphobic LG tradition.

As I was saying in that other post, googling “biphobic lesbians” gives you 12K results; “biphobic gay”gets 4.8K results,  vs. 452 results for “biphobic straight” and less than 10 for “biphobic  straights” or “biphobic heteros”. 

Damn, maybe actually analyse that and figure out that your community is riddled with biphobia and see how much that damages bisexuals instead of crying about being called out for biphobia?

The word biphobia isn’t meant to stand for a coherent analysis of structural oppression, it’s mostly a smokescreen bisexuals use to conceal their homophobia.

And this is always what it comes down to.

“I’m going to be as biphobic and hateful to bisexuals as much as I want and then if you call me out, I’ll just call you a homophobe!”

Fuck off. Lying and abusing the term homophobia to attack, abuse and turn bisexuals into self-hating servants so you can feel superior shows you don’t give a shit about actual homophobia, you just care about feeling “the most oppressed” and hating bisexuals more. You have to be the worst victims, you can’t see that others are victims too. It always has to be about you, and if it isn’t about you, then that’s somehow “oppression.”

The only thing that accepting that systemic biphobia and intracommunity biphobia “costs” the LG is a share of the spotlight and everyone recognising that bisexuals have issues that we’re allowed to come together about and speak about too. That’s the cost. It costs nothing to stop being biphobic and actually share solidarity.

But you cowardly, stupid, evil fucks don’t care about that. You pretend to be “feminists” and then hate and abuse bisexual women constantly, blaming us for everything, demanding continued silence enforced on us from straight men, and then you have the audacity to feel angry when we say, “Wait, no, we matter too.”

No. Fuck you. Biphobes are nothing but a waste of fucking oxygen.

[this is a hot take some of you aren't ready for: if you sleep with one man and don't like it, it doesn't mean youre a lesbian. not every woman is attracted to every man. Im bi and would claw my skin off if i slept with a guy just 'because'. some of you have one (1) bad experience with a man and claim to be lesbians and it's ugly] menalez you should hear this, esp when you use sex in a harmful way as you did. of course you’re not going to like it.
