Whew, it’s been a bit since I jumped into the Mugshot Monday fray. I felt the need to mix up what I usually share with you fine folks and bring you along for a matcha minute featuring my trusty matcha mug?... bowl?.... medium-sized, handled vessel? This piece was made by Valinda Miracle of Miracle Pottery from Mentone, AL. I don’t stick to earth tones these days but I certainly did at the beginning of my collecting which is very obvious here with all these nice greens, browns, and tans. That copper iridescence is pretty stunning as well but difficult to photograph.
