MENTORED!
My mentor and former boss is here this week, having traveled into town for meetings. She's based out west, so I haven't seen her face to face in years. Got a chance to meet her for coffee this morning and chat. It was just really good. I mean, she's awesome. She's the type of leader... hell, the type of *person* I want to be. And after an hour talking with her about my job, the work, my efforts, my concerns, I just feel better about all of the things. It's not that everything is perfect, and certainly not that I've done everything right, but my directional sense, my compass on things seems to be in the right direction. It's been a tough bunch of time. But it's awesome to have a really positive touch base with my mentor. Good luck everyone else.
