follow all of the companies' twitter/facebook/newspaper list or whatever. i have an email that i use to follow all of them so they won't spam up my regular email account :D
and they will send you news of offers, discounts, and freebies! especially on facebook pages and the likes when they announce when freebies are there
also look for groups/forums online for your country/city that are dedicated to finding and posting the latest bargains/freebie offers :D
