What does Lil Monster think about each quester?
To understand this, one must understand the foundations of why Lil Monster is sticking with the questers. Out of all the dandehogs, he came into being with the strongest personality. He immediately took on the protective role with our other two original dandehogs and then their hoglets. And having taken that role, he has come to the opinion that most creatures want to hunt them and thus trusts no one.
Upon meeting Snowball, that same protective instinct awakened. He decided to stay to ensure she was safe but also, because he has interest in her as a mate (dandehogs mate for life). However, a little bit like a certain ceramic crackhead, he is wary of making a move. Partially because she's so different from the other dandehogs (he considers her love of Holly weird), partially because he's intimidated. So Snowball is the reason he's bothering to stick around at all instead of disappearing with the other adults and hoglets.
That said, he is begrudgingly having certain questers grow on him. He respects Cuphead to a degree. He thinks Cuphead has good instincts. However he thinks the fact that Cuphead ignores those instincts is stupid. Thus him naming Cup Dumb. He also likes being fed. Not having to hunt his own food is nice.
He's mostly indifferent to Mugman because they've had little interaction. And because he's a spiteful little rodent he decided to call Mugs Dumber simply on account of his association with Cup (Lol, poor Mugs).
One of the people he's put the most thought and emotion into among the group is actually Holly. He views her kind of like how smurfs view Gargamel--as this powerful, incomprehensible being that has a potential to be dangerous. A big difference in this comparison is that he is aware Holly isn't actively seeking to hurt them. He still doesn't trust her. But he's too wary of her to be rude either. Don't wanna make the cosmic being mad even if you don't trust them. And that is another way to describe the way he views her. A little bit like the way Bendy views Chaos. He's always on edge and wondering what trouble she might throw his way.
Out of all the questers, I'd say the one Lil Monster thinks most kindly of is Boris. The rodent is hardwired to protect the young and to him it doesn't matter if they are a different species or size. He hasn't really shown it in story but he keeps an eye on Boris. During his nightly patrols (Yes, he patrols the house at night), he always goes out of his way at the beginning and end to check on Boris and make sure he is safe. Sometimes, he curls up on the pillow next to the wolf and takes short naps. Though, he always makes sure to be gone before the wolf wakes up.
If there were anyone Lil Monster would ask for in a "I want to speak with your manager" move, it'd be Felix (😆 Now I'm imagining Karen Lil Monster). Lil Monster views him as the adult and responsible for keeping this helter skelter mess of a group in one piece. He's a bit impatient with the cat to be honest, because he feels the cat should be taking a more active role in leading. He thinks Felix doesn't talk enough or put his foot down on bad ideas enough. A funny side effect of this is that Lil Monster pities Cuphead ever so slightly, because he views Cup putting his foot down on bad ideas as Felix's job that he's neglecting to do.
Lil Monster didn't spend enough time with Alice to form an opinion on her, but I think if he had and did, she would be second in his books after Boris in terms of looking kindly on them. He'd enjoy her warm aura and personality; and maybe, just maybe, he'd allow her to spoil him if she chose to do so.
And now we come to Bendy. Now Lil Monster's view on Bendy is a bit of a mixed bag. A big part of his opinion on the demon comes from things only he and Snowball can sense. A "darkness". Now he's not taking about demon vibes with that, demon vibes just feel cold and can actually be healthy for a dandehog. No, there's something else about him that both he and Snowball have only been able to describe as "dark". It comes off as an overwhelming power that can touch anything. So Lil Monster is just as wary if not more wary of Bendy than Holly. Bendy is a chill guy though, so other than general instincts Lil Monster was okay with him and didn't have a reason to mistrust Bendy (he was elsewhere for the beastly bendy incident during the Labyrinth arc) until he was present for the demon nearly sending Cup to the afterlife after Bendy saw Jake kiss Alice. And oh boooooooy that turned Lil Monster's paranoia up to a ten. If The Dark One weren't so firmly in place for Bendy's name he might have been dubbed The Sleeping Dragon after that time. Lil Monster is wary of not inciting the demon's temper.
Random side note, if Lil Monster were more cognizant of the concept of what a god was, he might even change Bendy's name to The Dark God, because like Holly he kinda views Bendy like an all powerful incomprehensible being.
