Occupation: Special Projects and Logistics Manager for DJ Irie and Irie Music Corp.
DN: What are you wearing?
MB: American Apparel shiny leggings, All Saints racerback tank top, Blank NYC leather jacket, Valentino rock stud sandals and matte black sunglasses by RetroSuperFuture
DN: What makes this your “uniform”?
MB: I was born in NYC so I've always gravitated towards a dark, sleek look. It's very versatile and I always feel my best in it.
DN: What is a typical workday like for you? Does your uniform play an important part?
MB: There is no such thing as a typical day in my job. My uniform is everything. I need to be ready for anything. If I need to be fancier, I can throw on heels and lipstick and go.
DN: Favorite Designer?/Style Icon?
MB: I am obsessed with Chrissy Teigen. She always looks flawless but never takes herself too seriously. I also love what Olivier Rousteing has done with Balmain recently. It is the perfect balance of edgy and beautiful, tough and feminine.
DN: Would you go out on a date in your uniform? A
MB: Absolutely. Any outfit that makes you feel confident and sexy is the perfect date outfit.
DN: Where do you go to escape?
MB: The beach or paddle boarding. Anything near or on the water always tends to calm me.
DN: Having a uniform may be a way to simplify your dressing; where do you show detail?
MB: Shoes, shoes, shoes. And jewelry.
DN: Morning person or Night Owl?
MB: Night Owl
DN: What type of music do you prefer?
MB: Hip hop
DN: Are you about the lyrics or the sound?
MB: Lyrics. A song should speak to you. Although a killer beat doesn't hurt.
DN: Where would be the next city you would like to vacation in?
MB: Tulum or Santorini. Water as far as the eye can see.
