I don't remember exactly why Meren was rocking such a pout (I think it was some failed interaction with his horse Mithril), but it didn't stop him from trying the new rock climbing machine at the gym.

He's long since maxed out Fitness, but this looked like an interesting way to maintain his physique.

(I did buy him one for home use, but there's no room for it inside the house, and Chestnut Ridge had a long streak of rainy weather, so I had to chuck it back in the household inventory for now.)

It's not morning, but have a Meren post anyway: he's learning Gemology quickly, and having a great time making jewelry. (It helps that he can buy 1/2 price gems in The Realm due to Spellcaster perks, and has a fully-upgraded rocket for trips to Sixam! 🤣)

And as you can see in the background, he has a crystal tree growing in the yard too. He'll be set for gems, but will probably have to Copypasto some of his metals.

Poor Meren - not even an elf can look dignified in the early stages of learning nectar-making!

Merennaur: "....Ow. Also, ew."

(Look on the bright side, your apple nectar will now be flavored with a hint of aged denim and notes of delectable elf derriere!)

Anyone stuck around long enough to remember doses of Morning Merennaur?

Yeah, I finally decided to get the skill-grindy elf boi caught up on some of the more recent skills added (many of which the player is tackling for the first time, too lol).

Meren has moved from Brindleton Bay to Chestnut Ridge, and acquired a gorgeous gray elvensteed horse he's named Mithril. They're working on their riding skills... among other things.

Far too long ago, @melsie-sims tagged me in the “Five Facts About Your Sim” meme. I’ve done this before (for Rose and Maeve), so I threw all my other main Sims onto a randomizer, and this time we get 5 things about Merennaur!

I always sort of imagined Meren as a “short king,” but when we finally started the new campaign, the DM made me roll for his height... and according to my dice, he is 6' 6″. 😅

Merennaur thought he was 100% Gay. It is now 99.99%, as he has found one woman in the Sims multiverse who makes him go all heart-eyed.

He’s not a full vegetarian, but does have meat-free meals more often than not. His favorite dish is garlic noodles (sorry, vampires).

Meren’s favorite socially acceptable form of exercise is swimming.

For a character based on fantasy, he has a fascination for technology and loves Electronica music. (Maybe that IS fantasy, to an elf?)

...I put Merennaur in The Infamous KPop Suit as he’s one of the few Sims I have who could do it justice - and he decided to inappropriately ham it up.

(In fact, I think he went full Zoolander on me!)

Merennaur has been taking it easy since I got him skills-maxed (not counting Snowy Escape, which I haven’t bought yet).

Before he took off for some sun on Sulani, he picked up a pair of @kiwisim4 ‘s Llama Hammock swimwear!  He started out sunbathing, but that pose didn’t show the new suit to best advantage... 😏

(The purple swatch seemed appropriate for a very fruity elf lol)
