I didn't intend this to line up with mermay but,,my gf and I were talking about a pirate au and bam merman zagan lives in my head rent free

I was gonna use a real fish for inspiration but googling fish made me remember that I'm scared of the ocean and made we wanna stop drawing lmfao

Triton is the only mermaid OC I have so I just had to draw him! I actually digitally colored a drawing of him I made a awhile ago and it came out so well, it looks as good as new uwu

This will most likely be my last Mermay post of this month, I did 3 entries this year, I'm pretty proud of myself😄 and I can't wait to participate in Junicorn next month!

#mermay2021 Day 29: Prickly Pear Okay honestly? I really love this design. Since prickly pears are technically a kind of cactus, I thought a cowboy theme would be absolutely perfect! I'm kinda surprised how well the purples played with the western clothing, since it's not a color often associated with the style. My only regret?
