I went to a Montessori school so they were big on class trips and hands on learning so we took a class trip to Costa Rica (all 26 of my classmates and my two teachers) for a week and half. No flights go all the way through though, so we stopped in Texas :)

That's also where I was born but I've never been back to visit since then. Only had flights stop there.

I'm sorry hon, I just now saw that you replied to my ask! But oh yes, i think I would much rather have hot summers than cold winters, that's why I want to move to Texas or Florida. Somewhere warm. I also think that summers in Illinois are bad, because it gets really humid. It's awful.

Normally it's nice except when it's a 120 and you're playing softball :)

Yeah, humidity sucks. We once had a flight that stopped off in Texas and we walked off the planed and just got hit but a wall of humidity. It was insane.

Ooh, okay. Well mine works fine!(: Ooh my goodness, that sounds awful. But hey! It's still nice there! We have bipolar weather too. The beginning of the week, all the snow was melting and it was sunny and warm and like high 40s. Then the next day dressing rain and everything that melted the day before, froze. Then the next two days it snowed. So we have snow covered ice right now. It's awesome. Driving is a blasty blast! I wish I could drift properly in it, that'd be fun. :)

Yeah, it could be so much worse. We're canceling our games for rain and other places are canceling their games for snow and ice. Our practices (our 6 am ones) were down in the 30's some mornings (it was cold) and everything was fairly warm because you ran a lot but your hands froze to ice cubes.

Our winter has been weird. It's been fairly cold and we've gotten lots of rain, which has been nice because in Arizona rain is like aliens for us :)

I complain about the Arizona summers but snow and ice would be terrible. And learning how to drive in it would be even worse.

I'm from Arizona *groans* It's so weird. We had soccer this morning and it went from 40 to about 80 in less than two hours. It's horrendous.
