Bárbara Diez, one of the well known wedding planners in the Argentina appeared on Mirtha Legrand show and said that Jorge Messi fired her from planning Antonela Roccozzo and Lionel Messi’s wedding in 2017.

“ Antonela and Messi were in agreement with the budgets, but it was Messi's dad, who started getting involved, started looking at the spreadsheets, didn't understand what each thing meant. He never asked us and said directly: ' This is not done, we do it in the Casino ‘

“We publicly deny everything said by Barbara Diez on Mirtha Legrand’s  program. Our wedding wasn't for exchange. We paid 100% of the services provided by each supplier. The decision to disassociate from Barabra Diez’s company was ours and not my father-in-law. Our Wedding Planner was Ceci, whom I chose not only for the friendship that unites us, but for her great professionalism. Our wedding was a dream night.I would have preferred not to have to clarify anything, and less two years later, but I had no other alternative.”
