It was Rohit's second year at Hogwarts and they had been sorted into Hufflepuff house. Their head of house Professor Sprout sent them to the Headmaster's Office.

Professor Dumbledore sat them down an offered lemon drops from the glass bowl.

He said with their parents permission they would be attending special tutoring sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. A student would be along shortly to escort them to the class. Rohit accompanied the older housemate but they hadn't recognized or seen her around in the halls. 

The older Hufflepuff student had a cheerful deposition and bright smile, the two chatted along the way.  They arrived in the Divination Department, there were vacant classrooms that nobody really used and it nice for them to practice she said.

"Practice? What did she mean by practice?"

There were five other students already waiting. These students were older and from each house, though not sixth or seventh years. 

“Wotcher been up to everybody!”

Two Ravenclaw and Slytherin students ran and nearly tackled the older girl in a hug. A gryffindor student with greeted with a high five. Another fist-bumped her. A Slytherin student asked her if she brought any latest fashion magazines.

"We have a new member starting today, they're a little nervous but let’s give them a big welcome."

"Oh! Rohit I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Tonks."

Tonks morphed into a taller woman who appeared to be in her late teens early twenties. Her Hogwarts robes disappeared, She wore a black brando leather biker jacket with white fringing and hand painted all over smiley faces in pastel rainbow shades of pink, mint, yellow and purple.

Her hair was a mixture of magenta and lilac coloring. She beamed as she stretched knocking over a desk. 

“Oops.”

You can morph?! You morphed?! "Tonks you’re a Meta-wix like me?!” Rohit jumped excitedly.

"So are they!" Tonks laughed

The Ravenclaw student unclipped her earrings, One of the boys and the Slytherin girl unclasped their necklaces. The last Gryffindor and Slytherin boy took off their rings.

Ah, they were wearing jewellery with glamour charms imbued within them.

Wix who were parents of meta-wix or meta-wix themselves were ever the cautious. With the start of Seconding Wizarding and it official known that the Dark Lord was back they were on high alert.

“Alright time for introductions.”

The first was student in Slytherin. A wix of Korean heritage, their name was Norman Stacey.

"Stacey like Tonks, easy peasy. Only my close friends are allowed to call me Haneul."

Next was the Ravenclaw student, she was the oldest. Her name was Ophelia Rushden.

"I prefer Phi Phi."

"You know what happened Shakespear’s character in Hamlet don't you? Just awful!"

After Phi Phi was Euan Abercrombie.

"Took the two b's, added the i and e." "I'm Abbie" they smiled sheepishly.

Then there was Remy Olivier who also in Gryffindor. A wizard of Sengalese heritage. " Yo, I'm Remy."

Last but not least was Tabitha Bainbridge, a British-Nigerian witch. She was also sorted into Slytherin with Stacey. She was the youngest of the group and smallest in stature. Tonks tickled Tabitha.

"I'm Bitty! She burst into laughter tickling Tonk back.

They were all metamorphagi!

Rohit quickly took off their amulet.

They thought they wouldn't meet other like them at Hogwarts.

The Hitchens Family

 Hitchens  was the surname of a wizarding family with both magical and Muggle heritage. English pure-blood witch Iola Black from the aristocratic wizarding Black Family and Santomean Muggle lapidary Bonifacio Caxieta professionally known as Bob Hitchens. Members of the family are known for their extraordinaire skills at celestial magic, renowned magi-geologists and magi-gemologists.

“It’s an inherited trait someone in your mother’s family carried that gene or was metamorphagus.” 

“I don’t think my mum or Sirius knows.”

Siblings Alexia W. Black and Eduardus L. Black were the ancestors of N. Tonks and her son Teddy Lupin, who were also born metamorphagi.

Did Tonks ever meet/know any of the metamorphagus students in your headcanon?

Yes! Dumbledore wrote Tonks and asked if she would like to meet them. Also after the meeting they set up a tutor sessions on training with their abilities on Wednesdays and Fridays in the Art Room if she wasn't to busy. She was there in diffrent forms and disguises. Tonks was excited and the kids were nervous at first but gradually came out their shell. They all learned from each other.

Before the siblings Licorus, Hesper, Alexia Walkin, Phoebe and Eduardus Limette Black. Before the line of Phineas Nigellus Black.

The Ancient and Noble House Black did not possess features of dark hair and dark eyes. Members long forgotten Sterope, Caelum, Vindemiatrix and Algae Fornacis Black did not look like their descendants from the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries.

Instead manuscripts and recollection from the four founders and earliest headmasters of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Brian Gagwilde and Heliotrope Wilkins stated that the students from House Black under their tutelage could change their body structure at will and so could the children's parents.

Their hair and eyes became an aray of vibrant colors and their pupils had a "magic star" shape known to arithimancers as the "tessellation effect." Muggles thought the wixen to be divine or celestial beings. These inheritated traits started to lessen through the generations as time went on. Siblings Alexia and Eduardus were known metamorphagi. Their nephew Sirius I and niece Iola Black had tessellation effected pupils, Iola's descendants had metamorphic traits. One hundred and seventy years later a decendant named Nymphadora Tonks and her son Edward Lupin were born metamorphagi.

Rohit Das wixen fashion designer has opened a flag store in London. A former Hogwarts student Das was pulled out by family in 1996 at the height of the Second Wizarding War, while in their third year. They continued their education in India. Das returned to Britain in 2010 and began reconnecting with former housemates and classmates.

A little known fact is that this up and coming wix designer is a metamorphagus. Metamorphagus wixen are born with the ability to to change their physical appearance at will, rather than requiring Polyjuice Potion or a spell like the rest of the wizarding population. Das explained that both they're maternal great-grandparents were metamorphagi and so was an great-uncle.

They reveal while attending Hogwarts that there were six students who were metamorphagi, they concealed their rare genetic trait with jewelry enchanted with glamour charms. Only the late Headmaster Albus Dumbledore was aware. Das laments, shuffling through vibrant fabric. "We were very young and silly. We'd promise to write each other and we did for as long as we could. I hope'd to see them again one day.

Euan Abercrombie began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1995 when Harry was in his Fifth year.

As he was first in his year alphabetically, he was the first to be sorted, and was sorted into Gryffindor House. He was a small boy with prominent ears, who often looked terrified. It was assumed he believed in the Daily Prophet's smear campaign against Harry Potter, and looked at him fearfully when Harry tried to smile at him.

Someone caught him glancing at a nearby article and staring with mouth a gape at the "Boy Who Who Lived." Harry Potter was literally sitting a few feet across from him. The older Gryffindor students seemed nice enough but they looked tired, something was off. He wrote his mother the following week, "People assume, so let them for your safety" she told him.

He was terrified that was true, it was all so very new. Euan's parents had set rules on what he couldn't normally do now that he was entering Hogwarts. Euan had even jumped at when the Honeydukes Lady made her rounds on the Hogwarts Express. He was trying to adjust his seals.

Euan Abercrombie was now a Gryffindor student and a Metamorphagus, the latter was not common knowledge. The way things were looking, with whispers of another wizarding war on the arise his parents wanted to keep it that way.
