blessed with new Electric Callboy today
gave it a listen for vibes, a listen for lyrics
dunked it straight into the operator's playlist because yeah those are definitely some words i can project onto The Character
pleading with my gray matter to keep writing after i find a fic that's somewhat similar to a WIP
"Oh this is kinda like the (etc etc) idea we had, it already exists, neat! We don't have to write it!! Moving on."
Like, **no** you lump of sentient salt jello, Our Specific Ideas have not been realized, I don't care that you're satisfied, you will continue to write until EYE AM satisfied aaaaa--
gyre gripped like a squeaky toy in one hand
tauforged purple shards in the other
chuckling giggling cackling
getting to the point where i can roughly parse my way through 1999 signage without immediately needing to whip out my cipher and that's
that's kinda neat
trying to conceptualize and explain in Non-Keysmashed Words why every major fifth interval i hear fills me with The Emotion
the This Is What You Are motif, those first two notes? that interval.
when i first heard the electric guitar version in 1999 i yelled
it plays in the mall sometimes, just those two notes. like someone whistling. it's probably speaker feedback but i refuse.
it plays during the railjack coda mission, when the stadium emerges (and it FUCKS it's SO good holy FUCK i love that sound i need it in my VEINS)
anyway i heard The Interval out in the wild today, in a stranger's very loud bright joyful laugh. someone across the street. dunno who or what or why, completely unrelated to anything Warframe but the sound of The Interval SENT ME TO A PLACE. this game has ruined me. it has enhanced my life beyond belief
i'm sure it can be boiled down to "my emotional investment results in Pavlovian Brain Chemicals whenever this bell is rung" but OH my GOD nothing else hits like that interval hits.
the only thing that comes close is a certain three banjo notes from Outer Wilds, but that's a whole separate can of brainworms
Sevagoth is neat.
projected a little too hard while vibing to a character playlist and now i'm peter griffin death posed beneath my desk
