I'm not a fan of Digimon evolutions where the only thing that changes is the color. Color variant Digimon work better as alternates of the same level, like Agumon and black Agumon. I just think that Digimon evolution should be exciting and fresh and something like Leomon evolving to Leomon but white is lame and anticlimactic.

However, we need a ultimate/mega level recolor for Gotsumon. We have Gotsumon, Icemon, and Insekimon/Meteormon all being recolors and we need to complete the set. Don't half-ass it by going most of the way and then stopping. Give us an entire evolution line where nothing changes. It'll be funny.

Nibirumon

A massive Ore Digimon thought to be the largest in existence. Because the technology capable of rendering it was only recently discovered, this Digimon has escaped the notice of researchers until now. It can also only be found in deep space, though it is visible from land, appearing to be a star like any other. Its connection to Insekimon is not yet understood, but the leading theory posits that the meteorite data found within Insekimon comes from Nibirumon.

Although not a naturally aggresive Digimon, its destructive potential is catastrophic. When, angered, it will send down a meteor shower to crush its enemies ("Meteor Force"). However, Its most powerful and dreaded Special Move has Nibirumon itself crashing down to land ("Extinction").

Suggested pre-evolved forms: Insekimon, SuperStarmon, DarkSuperStarmon, UFOmon, Gogmamon

[A Lilamon waiter at a bar is being followed and pestered by a lovesick Stingmon and finally snaps after being called "pretty lady".]

[Luckily the bar's owner Meteormon stepped in and she calmed Lilamon down, unfortunately Stingmon instantly became smitten with Meteormon and tries flirting with her only to set Lilamon off again]

Lilamon: That's my wife! you bastard!

Stingmon: Crap! (runs away)

Digimon World Chapter 35 Page 6 and 7 :

I didn't create the Meteormon tribe, Digimon World did. But still, SO MUCH QUESTION ! Is the Champion Digimon goes into space to evoleve into Meteormon ? Or is it some kind of Jogress shinka from Baby to Perfect ? Let's be honest, the game developer probably didn't think it through. BUT I THINK ABOUT IT NOW !

Love that these are all different guys and also a valid evo line Gotsumon does not need to change for he has already achieved peak performance
