Hey so like. Jax definitely has a dissociative disorder, right? The way he does one of those brainfog-shakes when he looks at Ribbit's door, the way his personality and affect seem to change multiple times throughout the fight with Pomni? Am I necessarily convinced that the intention is 100% plural Jax? ...... no, not really, as cool as that would be. My guess is a general "traumatized", but the idea that they have of what a traumatized person acts like is reminiscent of dissociative disorders- and maybe a little bit of plurality. I mean, the way he looks at his hand like he didn't want to push her away, the way he suddenly feels completely different about the events of the past two days, the way he takes on whatever personality will get Pomni to stop peering into him, the way he curses for the first time this episode, almost like he's reacting to the things he's doing- these are all obviously indications of the mental breakdown he's having, but am I crazy if I read "dissociative disorder" here?
