i know my blog is in english but this is important: a bridge in Mexico collapsed at around 9:25/10:25 PM, there is around at least 23 dead and 77 hospitalized.

at the moment the emergency team and ambulances are trying to help get people out of the train.

this bridge had been said as dangerous since oct 2020 by people around the area.

For those who were left wanting to know more , here is the second part (summarized) of the subway research. In this module we review the basic elements that were technical innovations of the 1968 Mexico Olympiad and how they impacted the development of the subway project in terms of graphic system and is the introduction to later talk more about the identity in shape of the subway and how it has developed over the years (in this chapter we do not yet talk about the shaped pictograms, but it is an interesting basis). There are a couple of interesting details that we'll talk about later. As always thanks to the Hola Todo es diseño team and I'd love to hear your feedback.✨✨✨✨

Since 2020 I began a research on the design of the subway, its signage and influences, as well as archival material to understand the processes that were used and what makes it so iconic in the history of Mexico City. and today thanks to the guys from Hola Todo es diseño it's on their youtube channel, it's a great honor that they have allowed me to collaborate on their platform and because of the length of the video it was divided into 3 episodes. In this first one I talk about early European signage, station architecture and the iconic tube map influencing the mexican subway. its in spanish but i hope you enjoy it ps. yes thats my face
