I was rather glad that her muse ended up working on a story so close to Christmas, because it gave me something to draw. I was getting worried I'd have to pull something out my ass, so I'm very pleased that I was able to do something, especially since it seemed rather obvious that I'd draw these two.
The expected thing would be drawing them in a romantic pose, since they're the main characters and love interests of her story. However, I have a hard time coming up with romantic shit for my own stories, so sticking them together, well, that's whatcha get, lol. For some weird reason, this picture/pose came to mind, so I decided to run with it. (Probably because it's a Viking story?)
I'm not sure if Asta actually uses a sword, but hey...she's a Viking. Of course she would. The thought was that, if she didn't, she'd be using her brother's sword, but I think she does (she does have a combat outfit, after all). I did use her normal outfit because I love the idea of girls kicking ass in a normal, every day dress, lol.
I really like how this turned out. Asta is pretty, Harekr is actually not wearing black - I matched his green to his purple, so they look nice together! Definitely a badass duo.

I feel kinda bad that this is a ridiculously simple picture, and he's just...standing there. To be fair, I don't know much about the story, plus i only have one character design, so....it's this. But hey, at least I was able to draw her main character!
I opted for this version mostly because it seemed like it would be easier for me to draw, plus I like the name Metsetja better than the name he gets when he's older. He's supposedly fifteen here (which I suspected since he was still smaller in the design sheet) and this is before all the shit goes down, so...yeah. Makes sense. :P
While it is a rather simple picture, I am pleased with it nonetheless. :D
