5 more minutes
Send me “5 more minutes” to see how my character would wake yours up.
“Papa!" He could hear her whispering in his ear and he cracked open one eye to see Genevieve standing there at the edge of the bed with that little grin on her face. "What did you do, Sunshine?" His voice was rough with sleep and Genny just giggled and covered her mouth with both hands before climbing into her Dads’ bed. She curled up against Milo’s chest and sighed, burying her face against his shoulder. "Daddy snores," She squeaked and Milo’s shoulders shook with quiet laughter as he glanced over his shoulder at his husband.
Everett was curled up with one of their twenty pillows because Milo couldn’t have less than a certain amount in bed with them no matter what. “He sounds like a truck, doesn’t he?” He hummed and pressed a kiss to the top of his daughter’s head. He shifted in the bed a little better and Genevieve climbed over him to lay between both of her fathers. “'m hungry, Papa. Tell Daddy to wake up!" She flailed her hands around and Milo laughed quietly at how much their five year old looked so much like Everett at that very moment.
"Daddy’s a bit of a grouch if we wake him up too quickly. Why don’t you go downstairs and see if Aunt Meme’s made breakfast. I think she has…I can smell pancakes," He mumbled and her bright oceanic orbs widened before she was shooting out of their bed. "NUTELLA PANCAKES!" She shrieked and how Everett didn’t wake up when he heard that, Milo wouldn’t understand.
When the little girl was out of the room, Milo ran a hand over his face and leaned over to press gentle kisses to his husband’s shoulder, “Babe,” He sang quietly into his ear and pressed another gentle kiss right below his ear. “COOKIES!” He suddenly shouted and his eyes went wide when Everett jerked so hard that he fell off of the bed, tangled in sheets.
What had Milo in stitches, though, was when he just sat up with a sleepy grin on his face, “—- Did you say cookies?” With a snort, Milo leaned over and pressed a good morning kiss to his lips, “Cookies,” Everett mumbled and pulled him closer. “I’ll have them later, I’ll have you now.”
