Artist Diego Riviera’s murals in old Acapulco. Commissioned in the mid-1950′s at the mansion of art collector Dolores Olmedo, Diego Riviera finished the work just before he died. Today, “Casa de los Vientos” as they called it, takes a little bit of legwork to find the home, but well worth it. The home is located above the Hotel El Mirador and the cliff divers.

The colors and style are incredible. Notice the inner murals in the house (Riviera’s art studio) and the snakes on the roof. The Mexican government has now purchased the home and will make it a cultural center.
