Clashes erupt between protesters and riot police in the capital as rallies take place in cities across the country
On International Women's Day, I am debuting my new poetry channel with a poem in support of my sisters in Mexico. It is time to...
Hi! I just want to say that I really appreciate what you do. Your sigils have helped so much. I wanted to ask you something. You see where i'm from (Mexico) there's been several protest in the name of the thousands of women that have been either raped, missing or dead. And there's also been a lot of threats against them. Would it be okay if I share the "We are safe sigil" for those who want to use it for protection during the protests? I would of course give you the credit. Thanks a lot!
Absolutely! By all means please do! I wish everyone protesting to be safe, I'm sending energies with the sigil to help
Hi! The “we are safe” anon here, thank you so much for allowing me to share the sigil and for your support!
No problem! I’m honoured that you thought of my sigil for this situation
brown people dont have agency in leftism, they can't fight for a better country, they can't revolt and have their demands unless the Americans tell them to do. Like pets, like retards. The CIA card is racist, if theres a protest against a leftist leader in any LATAM country it MUST be the CIA
Violent clashes during anti-government protests in Mexico City
Police fired smoke bombs and tear gas as protesters hurled stones. The clashes injured at least 120, including 100 police officers. The Mexico City Security chief said the police arrested 20 people for theft and assault.
Clashes followed Gen Z protests at the historic public square, the Zocalo, and the National Palace, where President Claudia Sheinbaum lives and works.
Demonstrations were fueled by the domestic "Sombrero Movement", which emerged after the assassination of Uruapan Mayor Carlos Manzo, who was known for his fight against organised crime.
Protests came amid growing criticism of President Claudia Sheinbaum over her security policies after several high-profile murders in Mexico.

Protest marks disappearance of Mexican students
A protest marking three months since 43 college students were abducted in southern Mexico has resulted in damages to a perimeter wall at an army base in the city of Iguala. Hundreds of protesters marched to the army base Friday to commemorate the disappearance of the students on Sept. 26. Some spray-painted graffiti on the base's wall, and others tore down part of a metal gate at the entrance. Iguala municipal police allegedly detained the students following a clash that left six people dead. Authorities say the police turned the students over to members of a drug gang who killed them and burned their bodies. Parents of the missing students and their supporters have questioned why the army did nothing to stop the abductions which occurred near the local base.
