* September 10th 12:00 PM Registration Opens * September 17th 12:00 PM Email to returning and registered authors go out with claims info * September 23rd 12:00 PM Claims open at Noon (EST) (24 hour window for returning participants)
* September 24th 12:00 PM Claims open at Noon (EST) (24 hour window for registered participants) * September 25th 12:00 PM Unclaimed prompts are available to the public and stay open until all are claimed or until 11:59pm EST on October 8th at 11:59pm. * October 9th First check in email goes out with the form. People have until November 1st to fill it out. Let people know they can change their prompt ONCE until October 29th. * October 29th Last chance to change mind on prompt. * November 1st WRITER MANDATORY CHECK IN (OUTLINE DUE) - Rough outline, ships, claims summary, estimated word count, final tier decisions, and potential warnings due. Any author who doesn’t submit by this date will be dropped. * November 5th Email out to registered Artists with claims info. * November 6th Early Artist Claims for last years participants * November 7th 12:00 PM ARTIST CLAIMS. Claims open at 12:00pm EST. (Special 24 hour window for newly registered participants) * November 9th 12:00 PM Claims open to the public and stay open until all prompts are claimed. Registered artist may claim a second fic, participating authors may claim their first fic. * November 16th Team introduction emails go out w/check-in link * November 22th MANDATORY TEAM CHECK-IN. Teams will confirm: the outline has been sent to the artist, they have spoken about time zones and dates they won’t be available, established the best methods to communicate with each other. * December 12th Optional check-in (or 25% check in) * January 7th MANDATORY CHECK IN. Authors: 50% draft due + confirmation they have contact with their artists and have discussed the first art that will be created. * January 17th Team Check-in. Teams asked for preferred posting dates for posting schedule. * January 24th Final schedule sent to teams and posted online. * January 30th Rough drafts due for Artists. Must have a rough draft for each mandatory piece. (tier 1 = 1 draft due. Tier 2 - etc) * February 12th FINAL DRAFTS DUE from authors and artists. * February 14th Posting Begins!
