[Log-in story] Sonatina of Healing Salt And Nursing ①
Appearing characters: Rutile, Heathcliff
Rutile: (Wow, it’s really pouring out there!)
Rutile: (If I had come home even a minute later, I’d be sopping wet…)
Heathcliff: Ah, Rutile, welcome back. Are you done with your mission?
Rutile: Yes—I ended up finishing a lot quicker than I thought.
Rutile: Is Mitile still here?
Heathcliff: I believe he just left for the Southern Country.
Heathcliff: He went with Shino to help out Doctor Figaro. They both seemed pretty excited about it.
Rutile: That’s good to hear.
Rutile: What about you, Heath? Are you going anywhere later?
Heathcliff: Yes, I was about to get some lunch. Would you like to join me?
Rutile: You bet! I was also starting to feel a little hun— Whoa!?
Heathcliff: Watch out…!
Heathcliff: Are you alright, Rutile? You’re not hurt anywhere, are you?
Rutile: I- I’m fine, Heath. Thanks for catching me. That was a close one.
Rutile: I wonder what I slipped on…
Rutile & Heathcliff: Ah.
Rutile: The floorboard is protruding a bit. That’s definitely a tripping hazard.
Heathcliff: I wonder if it’s because of the humidity…
Heathcliff: Yep, if you step on it, it makes a dull sound. The water must be making the wood swell.
Rutile: It has been raining a lot lately, huh.
Heathcliff: And even if we fix this one board, it won’t fix the main problem…
Heathcliff: Since the Manor is under Central Country’s jurisdiction, perhaps we could ask Sir Drummond for help.
Heathcliff: For now, we could replace it with another wooden board as a temporary fix.
Rutile: Good thinking, Heath! You’re the best!
Heathcliff: I-It’s nothing special! I was just thinking out loud…
Heathcliff: Well, I’m pretty sure there’s already some spare lumber around here, so we just need to find the right tools.
Rutile: Oh, why don’t we get a rug while we’re at it?
Rutile: A bright red one that’s sure to stand out.
Heathcliff: A red rug? What for?
Rutile: If we stick a big sign on it that says “caution”...
Rutile: People will see it and take care when they walk!
Heathcliff: Oh, that’s a good idea! I never would’ve thought of that.
Rutile: Haha, we used to do it all the time at my school in the South. It’d be bad if one of the kids got hurt.
Heathcliff: That’s true. For now, we can leave this sign here while we find the materials we need.
Rutile: Okay! Let’s go, Team Rutile and Heath!
Rutile: —Ahaha! Sorry, I guess my tummy’s excited to take part in our plan.
Heathcliff: Haha, maybe we should wait until after lunch to do this.
Rutile: You might be right…
Rutile: Let’s go, Team Rutile and Heath… to lunch!
