By now everyone knows about the drought we're facing in California. Multiple city initiatives to combat the drought have arisen urging us all to be proactive. Some citizens have begun replacing their gardens with drought friendly plants, while some have gone further and removed their lawns all together. As a trained landscape architect, I've been interested in seeing the documentary Women In The Dirt for a while now.  We so rarely get to see documentaries beyond someone like Olmsted.  It's great to see this one is about 7 leading modern female landscape architects. For a review, the landscape architecture magazine Paisajismo has a small blurb.
