Ark Ascent Debüt im September
Ark Ascent wurden im Jahre 2011 als Prophecy von Jack Kirby gegründet. Dies gerade mal mit 19 Jahren. Im selben Jahr hat er bereits mit der Vorproduktion von Songs begonnen, die mal auf ein Album kommen könnten. Den Gesang hat der Ex-Shadowkeep Sänger Rogue Marechal eingesungen. Danach haben die beiden immer wieder an den Songs rumgebastelt, hier was rumgeschrieben, da etwas wieder frisch aufgenommen. Bis man sich die Dienste des DGM Bassisten Andrea Arcangeli im Jahre 2014 geholt hat. Nach ein paar weiteren Jahren des Feinschliffes war das Album Ende 2017 mehrheitlich im Kasten und man sicherte sich noch die Dienste von Michael Brush, der auch bei Sirenia am Schlagzeug sitzt. Auf dem Album hat aber Jack persönlich das Schlagzeug noch eingespielt. Nun ist die Band jedoch komplett und nach Jahren der Entwicklung auch das Album in den Startlöchern. Am 27. September 2019 soll es nun erscheinen, das Debütalbum Downfall von Ark Ascent. Einen Vorgeschmack gibt es bereits hier.
