I love Michael because he tries in everything that he does. Sometimes he fails, sometimes he succeeds sometimes he just plain old puts his foot in his mouth but he still tries, without fail, without regret, and with a lot of hope.
he does, even when he wishes so badly he could stop trying, even when he shouts that he’s giving up, he never does ToT. i reeeally can’t wait to see more of that theme of Hope with him, it’s like catnip for me
@christchex: Tbh: I like that he needed a reminder to not have hope, because his natural inclination is to hope and have faith and to care. I like that his character seems so cynical, but out of all the aliens he’s really not.

he really is so open...and when he does speak those emotions it comes out like a rushing river...i hope he gets to a place where he learns how to be gentler with himself and not dam them up for so long ToT

I love it when loyalty is both a character strength and a flaw. one of my fave things about michael for sure. i hope we get both more feral!michael and more nurturing!michael in the future <3
