Reading "Siege" by Michael Wolfe. And, yeah, I think Ivanka Trump was one of his sources. She comes off way more sympathetically here than she did in the first book. The argument: "Look, me and Jared have been stabilizing Trump. We got him away from Bannon and the rest of the racist crazies. We want him to be a moderate conservative, like Romney or McCain. I should be getting credit for that."
How true this is might be up for debate.
But, shit, man. You feel Bannon made a massive mistake when he assumed Trump would choose him over Ivanka.
Bro, it was never going to happen.
Bannon has (sort of) acknowledged this now.
