If your Little Miss is anything like Elsie and Gigi, one of the most important aspects of attending a party is deciding which dress to wear.  I think, for most, this follows us through to adulthood. Ladies love to dress up just as much as the little ladies in their life (and I love a good party too – Hic!).

Wearing a pretty dress makes little girls feel special, even more so if the dress is accompanied with a full skirt. One of the first things my Gigi does when trying on a dress is twirl as fast as she possibly can and check the flow of the skirt ‘Watch me turn mummy!’ The bigger and fuller the skirt, the better!

Team Little Miss Sew ‘n’ Sew have been busy putting together the perfect Party Dress Get Stitching Pack. We love this pattern just as much as Elsie and Gigi do. With our dress pattern and gorgeous range of fabrics you can take the stress out of searching for the perfect party dress and create something entirely unique, just for your Little Miss!

We think this dress pattern is absolutely beautiful and we are so excited to share it with you.

This dress is suitable for every occasion whether it’s a family picnic, friends party or wedding.  It can be combined with pretty sandals in the summer or tights and a co-coordinating cardigan in the cooler months.

The dress pattern is from 6 months to 10 years. If you have already made our Easter Skirt and Flutterby Dress this is the perfect next step!

Inside the stitching pack you will receive the dress pattern download pdf along with photographed, step by step instructions on how to make the dress with your chosen fabric.

You will learn how to construct a bodice, gathering, adding buttons and attaching the bodice to the skirt. There is an optional sash to add to the dress.

If you have any queries whilst making the party dress, support can be accessed via our online community. A member of the Little Miss Sew ‘n’ Sew team will be available to answer any of your questions.

The pack costs £15 to make a party dress aged 6 or 12 months, £20 to make a party dress aged 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 years and £25 to produce a party dress aged either 7, 8, 9 or 10 years. Price differences are due to the different fabric requirements.

All you need to do is:

a. Decide which fabric combination you like best from the pictures below.

b. Click the picture of the dress you would like to make, this will take you into our shop where you can select the age range.

The pattern and instructions will be emailed to you immediately and the fabric requirements will be sent in the post within five business days. Postage is absolutely FREE!

There are four fabric choices available to you, all you need to do is choose which you like best!
