Darcy needed someone to push her back into the habitual memorization of routines, which she had been lacking in the past couple weeks since the tragic incident. Honestly, she believed most of her teammates were too kind to call her on it, but she was certain that Paige was the person who could kick her butt and remind her that she was tough enough to figure out again.

Darcy came up to Paige, after practice, having just changed out of her sweats, and cleared her throat nervously. “Hey, um, Paige.”
