sorry if this has already been asked, but with cat-family hybrids, do they only have whiskers if they don't shave? and would it hurt to shave the whiskers off? i heard that if you cut a cat's whiskers it really hurts so yeah i dunno ,o,
For hybrids specifically their whiskers aren't as necessary as their actual animal counterparts even though they may still grow them. They're sort of like a leftover gene, kinda like how people still have wisdom teeth even though a human mouth is too small to fit them anymore . So a hybrids whiskers wouldn't be painful to remove or anything, they're just thicker hairs at this point essentially.
