Microsoft teases its future Office UI
Microsoft teases its future of Office UI and design today, and it involves some big changes to the traditional ribbon interface. The software giant has been gradually improving Office with its Fluent Design system over the past couple of years — new royalty-free images, adding new icons, a dark mode, and overhauling the ribbon toolbar by making it smaller and easier to use. The next stage of…

Multiple instances of PowerPoint (2007)
How can I open PowerPoint twice so I can view two presentations, one on each screen of my dual monitor set up?
Answer [by M'vy]: Multiple instances of PowerPoint (2007)
It seems that running two copies of MS Office 2007 is not possible so far.
The only workaround I know is to run office with as another user, but it has some inconveniences.

Powerpoint: animation to build a table, one row at a time
I’ve got a slide in PowerPoint 2007 containing a table with several rows.
I’d like to build this slide one row at a time (so that the audience doesn’t see each row until I’m ready to talk about it).

How do I embed video in PowerPoint with relative paths?
I’m using PowerPoint 2003. Does anyone know how to embed a video in a PowerPoint presentation in such a way that it can be moved to another computer?
Possible solutions I’m considering:
Actually embed the video file into the powerpoint file. This would be ideal, but I don’t know how to do this.
Insert a reference to the video into the…

Export PowerPoint to PDF with each animation on a separate slide
I have a PowerPoint presentation where I extensively use simple animations, only appear/disappear effects triggered by the mouse (not time based), without any smooth transitions.
Is it possible to export a PDF where every single step of the animation is on a separate slide?. The problem is that, exporting through the save-as menu,…

Change the spell-checking language on a PowerPoint presentation
I received a PowerPoint presentation with dozens of slides, each of them with a number of text boxes. Although the presentation is written in English, the language for spell checking is set to Canadian French. I’m trying to change the language to English, but even if I select all the slides and select a new element on the Language…
