Some part of Adam might have expected Michael to be an early riser. Something about the military rigidness with which he held himself so long ago. But, in his own human body, Michael found that he loved sleep and, even more, he loved beds. The former archangel of the Lord could often be found lazing in bed into the afternoon when Adam had long chunks of classes stretching through the day.

Adam didn’t mind, though, mostly because of Fridays. Fridays he only had his one morning class that let out at eleven which meant he was back at their apartment by noon. The sun filtered in bright and clear and Michael was often asleep again, not still, having gotten up to shower and get coffee before tucking himself back into bed. So Adam was free to kick off his shoes, shed his jacket, drops his backpack and crawl into bed alongside Michael.

“Hey, sleepy halo,” he mutters against the nape of Michael’s neck.

“Adam,” is the only reply he gets, soft and sighed out from deep in Michael’s chest. A hand drifts up and then back, curling over Adam’s hips and pulling him closer. For a long moment, it’s just that. Just the two of them, pressed close, peaking sun stretching over them. Then, after briefly nuzzling it further into the pillow, Michael lifted his face, turned. “How was your class?”

Adam lit up at that, eyes bright. “So cool.” He laces his fingers through Michael’s, brings the knuckle up to his mouth so he can drift kisses across. “Wanna get up? I’ll buy you brunch from the place and tell you all about it?”

Michael nodded, but didn’t move. He just held still, under the covers, dark eyes set on Adam’s face. “In just one moment, though.” He rolled then, pinning Adam to the bed and pressing their mouths together in a loose kiss. “Let me have you here, for a moment, first.”

Adam blushed a little, never used to how bald-faced Michael could be with his desires, but nodded easily. “Of course.” His nose nudged against Michael’s and they kissed again, the afternoon opening around them.

Do you think that Michael loves photography?

Do you think he collects different style and era cameras? Do you think his favorite is any type of camera that uses photographic film?

Michael loves developing film, and has a dark room dedicated to it in his and Adam’s apartment.

Michael is always wearing a camera around his neck and he’s always taking pictures of Adam. He has enough pictures of Adam to fill up a city bus three times over.

Adam loves when Michael takes pictures, he poses and models and puts on whatever kind of show Michael wants him to.

The resulting pictures are silly and fun, full of life, and full of adam’s personality. That’s why Michael loves them so much.

That’s why Michael takes so many. That’s why Michael keeps them all, even the blurry ones. That’s why Michael dedicates so much time to his hobby.

Michael loves photography in spite of the fact he has no need for pictures.

His memory is eidetic, better than eidetic. It’s inhuman, extraordinary. He doesn’t require photographs to vividly recall events from long in the past as humans sometimes do. However, holding something physical, something he put time into, gives him such satisfaction that he loves photography; and Adam loves that Michael loves it.

He tells Michael about how “He’s acting more human-like.” and that “He’s going soft on him.”

Michael promptly denies these claims but the fact of the matter is, it’s true.

Since they became free, he has felt closer to Adam. He has understood what it is to be human, before he only had Adams memories and retellings, the real thing is so much more… intense.

Michael has enjoyed his days more than ever before, and he thinks something of lower life forms. Never before has he ever even given a thought to insect life, but photographing a delicate Monarch, or a sharp mantis puts these smaller life forms into perspective for him.

All the things he was never bothered to care about before, he sees now.

He feels now.

He loves now.

i decided to just make this into a separate post rather than a reblog of my other post! (this is just a little ficlet/scenario from much later in my fanfic so enjoy!)

Micheal had never before stopped to observe (and examine with care) the tufts of unruly hair on a humans head. He had never paid any kind of special attention to any human before, especially not to something as insignificant as the way their hair fell to frame their face, or how it stuck up in certain areas (presumably from falling asleep with wet hair).

No, he had never cared, not before Adam.

Adams head of dark sandy locks captivated Micheal for no good reason. A handful of Micheals time with Adam was consumed by every-one of Micheals angelic eyes inspecting Adam. Taking in any discrepancies from the last time he had viewed him, as well as just gathering data about this special human.

A couple of Micheal’s eyes stared at the out of place hair sticking up on the side of Adam’s head. Effectively keeping Micheal’s mind semi-occupied in thought while his beloved rambled on about the time he and his mom had gone to the zoo.

Michael was not ignoring Adam, he wouldn’t dare disrespect him like that. However, he had heard this story twenty-eight times before and hadn’t forgotten a word of it. Even now, preoccupied, he was still listening to the story and noting all the tiny differences from last time Adam had told it.

Some changes include, a time difference, the last time Adam had relayed this story, he claimed they stopped for lunch after the penguins at 12:30pm. In this instance of story telling he claimed it to be 1:00pm.

Micheal, of course, knew Adam was not purposely lying to him, he had been around Adam long enough to understand human perception of time and memories were not exact.

During Adams enthusiastic description of two polar bears Micheal reached out towards Adam. This movement seemed to shock Adam a bit, as he ceased his description and quietly watched Micheals path of motion. When Michael’s hand met the side of Adam’s head he repeated a downward petting motion four times, delicately raking his fingers through the strands and smoothing out the ungoverned hair.

Adam gaped back at him, blue eyes highlighted by the sun. The slightest tinge of a blush crept across Adam’s complexion.

Micheal could feel Adam’s flattery and happiness exuding off of his exquisite soul even before the smile started to appear on Adam’s face.

“Bedhead?” Adam questioned sweetly through his smile.

“Mmm.” Micheal responded in an affirmative hum.

“Thank you, Michael.” Adam beamed.

Micheal watched in awe of the creature in front of him. His eyes tracing the crinkles forming at the corners of Adam’s eyes and the lines that appeared around Adam’s mouth. The signification of happiness proudly displayed on his lovers face was quite wonderful. It even earned a smile from himself in return.

“Of course, Adam.”

i was thinking about this funny scenario while i was writing my fic and i haveeee to share…

okay so, adam and micheal are together in the memoryscape. (this is a while into their imprisonment so they’re comfortable with eachother and have certain routines.) adams like “babe, wanna take a nap?”

obviously, micheal doesn’t sleep. he understands that this will just be stationary prolonged cuddling for him but he obliges to adams request.

now, micheal’s apparition is always clothed in the hand-me-downs from dean that adam was wearing when he first got possessed. adam doesn’t really mind that micheal wears them, but he was feeling like he wanted to tease micheal so he got an idea:

they’re about to lay down and adam puts his hand on micheal’s chest, pushing him back from the bed and he says, “you should put on pajamas, i have my comfy clothes on we should make you some pajamas.”

micheal reassures adam he has no use for differing garments and is fine laying down in the clothes he’s wearing now. adam knows if he begs micheal and tells him it’s a human custom, micheal will ALWAYS fold.

so he continues his speech, “yeah, yeah. i know you don’t need them, but it’s important to me, you know? humans always wear pajamas to sleep and it’ll remind me of home.” he flashes a pleading face at micheal to amplify the requests effectiveness.

micheal stares at him with that cute hopelessly clueless look on his face and he’s like, “i was not aware, of course i will adorn a pajama set if it’s important to you, adam.”

adam smiles realllyyyy wide and almost starts laughing. micheal smirks a little to himself, so proud, thinking he’s made adam very happy, but in reality it’s adams shit eating i’m-about-to-be-a-jackass grin.

in the mindscape adam and micheal have the ability to materialize objects, so basically anything (which for micheal is literally anything) they can think of can be willed into the space they’re occupying. for example if adam wanted a succulent he could just think of it and make it pop into existence. okay continuing on…

so adam gets all cheery and he’s like, “oh, micheal! im so glad. here let me make you a pair of pajamas :)”

micheal’s pleased with adams happy response and is like, “thank you adam, my love.”

now the pair of pjs adam has in mind is a pair of sonic pajamas from when he was 7, obviously resizing them to fit adams (micheal’s) 19 year old body.

he poofs them in and presents them to micheal, micheal is extremely confused but undresses and puts the pajamas on. they aren’t like anything he’s ever seen adam wear.

he’s wearing the pajamas and adam is laughing his ass off, he’s clutching his stomach and almost crying. the view of micheal, the stoic archangel, the prince of the heavenly host, commander and viceroy of heaven wearing SONIC PAJAMAS is truly just too much for adam and it’s funnier than he orginally thought it would be.

micheal’s been around adam enough to sense somethings a little off, because adam only laughs like that when somethings funny. and what could be funny? was he wearing them wrong? so he asks, “adam? is something the matter? have i put the pajamas on incorrectly?” micheal finishes, blushing just a bit.

adam breathes in deeply trying to control his laughter before he answers his angel, “no, micheal! no, you’re wearing them right! you look great!” he cracks a smile and stifles a laugh at the end.

micheal shifts uncomfortably, still feeling embarrassed and responds, “are you positive?”

“yes! those are classic pajamas, psh all humans have a pair! didn’t you know that?”

micheal is now embarrassed for a different reason, he’s embarrassed that he doesn’t know. he isn’t entirely sure about human culture and is sometimes bashful when adam talks about things micheal never knew before. so he responds accordingly, trying to save his pride, “well… i, of course. yes, adam thank you for making me these.”

once adam can compose himself enough, he leads micheal to the bed and they situate themselves, he was being serious about the nap and he fully intends to take his nap, even with his angelic boyfriend wearing a seven year olds sonic pajama set. once adams ready he wakes up feeling well rested, almost forgetting what micheal is wearing.

he and micheal go on about their day for about 30 minutes more, micheal obviously isn’t sure when he’s meant to remove the pajamas so he keeps them on. adam leads them to the living room where he intends to read while micheal sits beside him. they sit down on the couch and adam cracks, he HAS to tell micheal the joke. he seriously can’t look at him anymore. obviously, micheal is completely oblivious to the joke and no matter how many times adam tells him “it’s just funny because you’re some powerful big shot archangel wearing sonic pajamas.” micheal still doesn’t understand.

it gets even funnier when adam gets sick of explaining and gives up, micheal is not pleased by this and longs to understand. he’s need-ily asking adam to elaborate, and this sends adam over the edge again, his all powerful boyfriend begging him for answers in his sonic outfit. adam laugh cries a little more and micheal pouts for the rest of the day. (after changing back into his regular attire ofc)

and yes, this probably isn’t as funny to you guys as it is to me, and yes this is insanely random i’m sorry.
