S.E.M Chronicles

Chapter 1: corruption

Midnightjoy and chartreuse where sitting in the void as Midnight was getting used to his new form. He looked very different from normal humans. He had a lot more hair on the top of his head, but it wasn't long as it only came to the back of his neck. He had light tan skin and his fingernails and toenails were much sharper and curved, like claws. He also had sharp canines and although his ears were in the normal spot they were pointed. He was sitting indian style, opening and closing is hands repeatedly as if he was trying to get used to the new form.

Chartreuse was watching him giggling at him slightly. It was like watching a toddler trying to operate a full grown body. She was a blonde hair blue eyed bombshell and she knew it. Before she would always have to used her charm. But now she had the power of the mind, now she could just tell people what to do. Her thoughts were broken however, by the masters. The were an ancient race who's job it was to Mentor the people giving different cosmic powers.

"You must find the soul now." one of the hooded figures spoke "the S.E.M system must be complete." His voice was old and cracked it was obvious that man has lived for eons " it's most unusual that all of the previous host have been dead at the same time."

Chartreuse rolled her eyes as she looked over at Midnight. "What do you think? You are the emotion. your just as much of part of this is I am."

Midnight looked at her with malevolence in his eyes. "If what they told us about our power is is true I want to test it out. and that means we have to find the last piece"

"You read my mind, cat-boy." Chartreuse laughed, then she turned her attention to the masters "alright you bunch of geezers, where is the universe the soul is in"

The group of robed men turned and pointed. In a flash, Midnight and Chartreuse were gone. One of the Masters turn his head and finally spoke "I have a bad feeling about this group"

" I think we all do" said another "but for now we must trust them we have the strength...hopefully" but he wasn't as sure as he sounded

Midnight and Chartreuse finally landed just outside of a castle. All around them a bunch of people floated in the air, eyes completely black

"So this must be the work of the sou...." Chartreuse's word seem to trail off as the people started floating back down seeming to be restored.

Just then Midnight's eyes began to glow a rich purple as they do when he uses his powers. Chartreuse's eyes were glowing as well, as they were both glowing only when they were looking at the castle signaling to them the last power was in the castle. The two of them ran into the castle to see a very unusual site.

They saw a woman holding her baby flying off on an umbrella out of the castle, while a younger blonde hair girl watched. Also watching was a young man with golden bronze skin and 5 lines running up his arms from his hands. A cry rang rang out from him that got everyone's attention except who he wanted.

"QUEEN ECLIPSA! WHY WON'T YOU EVER NOTICED ME!! I TRAINED FOR SO LONG!" His voice died away but he whispered one last phrase. "Why won't you love me..." it was so quiet the only people who heard it what Midnight and Chartreuse. The two of them hatched a scheme.

Chartreuse rap her arms around his neck bringing her with close to his ear as she began to whisper to him " that's right. it's not fair is it? you spent your whole life working and adorering her only to have her turn you away. She should have loved you. you deserve her love. but now you have the power to make them all pay for what she did to you." The more and more she kept whispering to him the more and more apparent how worked up he was getting. He's took all of her words to heart, as they were right to him. As he kept getting worked up his eyes began to glow a golden light, a sign that his power as the soul has finally awaken " if you combine your powers with mine and the boy over there we will make sure that everybody in this world pays."

The man smiled and stood up, then spoke his deep voice was a bit surprising to them compare to the voice that they just heard screaming. " I am Xerxes and I wish to make every single person in this world pay for her breaking my heart." If those other two people try to protest what they were doing none of the other three could hear them. The three of them put their hands together, their magic pooling. Instinct took over for Xerxes but Chartreuse and Midnight learn this Chant wall they were given instructions by the Masters.

" by the power of soul emotion in mind working together as one we summon the ultimate power of destruction to purge this would as we see fit. WE ARE THE S.E.M SYSTEM!!!" Their voices rang out in unison

In a flash of light a figure appeared. It looks like a naked muscle tone man except he had no face or genitalia. There was a moment of silence. And then suddenly on his face the flesh began to rip as his mouth open and let out a piercing scream. Balling up his fist he slammed it into the ground and suddenly there was a bright white light.

The next thing they knew Xerxes, Midnight, and Chartreuse we're back in the void as they look back at where's Xerxes' universe was. There was nothing there. They had destroy the entire universe wiping get from existence.

Xerxes looked astonished. "We have that power...." he was almost speechless

Midnight and Chartreuse look pleased with themselves until they heard the voice of the Masters

You absolute fools!!! your supposed to be using your power to protect the balance!!! instead your going on power trip fantasies and abusing your power!!!!" he was furious as he stood with the others at first he walked forward grabbing Chartreuse by her shirt and lifting her up " I knew you were trouble the moment we saw you I should have killed You to begin with"

She looked over at Xerxes. " how much fun was it to destroy your universe. To make all of those bastards pay they neglected your love in you had the power to kill them all and you did how does it feel? Because something tells me it's going to feel just as good as killing these old fucks!" She was finally showing her truth colors but it was too late.

The master felt a sharp pain in his stomach. Looking down he saw that Midnight ran his hand all the way through him. Midnight looked up at the master letting out a small chuckle and a sly grin. Midnight withdrew his arm in the master fell to his knees letting Chartreuse go. " you know what's funny I didn't even have to persuade him turns out he got tired of people telling him what to do in his own universe."

Midnight cackled maniacally " I have all these powers and nobody is ever going to tell me what to do with them ever again. I will take what I want! Sleep with whoever I want! And kill whoever I want..."

Just as the other masters step forward to use their powers to stop the two of them, they all froze in place. Chartreuse and Midnight turned to see Xerxes using his powers to hold them in place. " so even you guys have a soul. Too bad I'm going to have to crush it now" as he closed his fist all the Masters drop to the ground

The three of them looked at each other. Chartreuse was the one to speak. " look at us. In each of our respective universes there was something unobtainable we wanted." She looked at Xerxes "A love of that was never noticed or reciprocated." she turned to Midnightjoy next "for you even worse a love that was noticed and reciprocated but putting her duty over your heart." she paused " and finally myself I wanted everyone to love me and want me but there was one who is always out of my grasp she said with the hint of malice in her voice.

" but that is all in the past with our powers of the mind, emotion, and soul, we can have anything and anyone we want" said Chartreuse

"And now with the Masters dead there isn't a single person in the Multi-verse strong enough to stop up" Midnightjoy added

" first we were just gods among men but now we have ascended to true Godhood" concluded Xerxes

Then in unison

"WE ARE THE S.E.M SYSTEM"
