“That was very cryptic,” Steve noted, brows furrowed. He tightened his grip on the shield and glanced around the dark alleyway. “Does the void want to come out and introduce itself?” he asked. It was still early days after the Siege, everyone was still getting used to the ‘new normal.’ Maybe this was someone who hadn’t registered, who wasn’t sure if he’d join a team or not. Steve was wary, but he was hoping for the best.
