Day 3 out of the 8 days I need to smudge for!

It's been a long while since I've been smudged, and this is the first time I'm doing it on my own (vs family smudging me) which is it's own interesting experience

Not all, but a lot of my family doesn't smudge because Christianity had a huge influence on my native side of the family (which I have very mixed feelings about). So branching out into traditional medicine has been a bit of a strange solo journey.

But it's nice. I feel better today than I did yesterday. Hopefully by the end of the 8 days I'll feel more at peace with my thoughts. I'm trusting gitche manidoo, I've never been lead astray before.
