Take me... (Closed RP with Kai)
The time after the trial took a drastic skip for Mika. One moment she was on the floor bawling her eyes out, a moment later she was in her room staring at the teddy bear key chain, and just a moment after that she realized herself crying in the shower. The water was cold, much too similar to Mika’s interior. A freezing vessel cradling herself in the shower as the cold water rains down on her exterior. No reaction took place. No emotions, no movement, not even noise. Mika muted herself, contemplating what was to come next. Mika hurled that to the curb and watched its body limply collide with the pavement. The future lay a broken figure on the side of the road, occasionally ran over by a passing car unconcerned by its demise. Roadkill waiting to decay.
What time was it when Mika finally left the cold shower? When did she dry her hair and put on some clothing from her closet? Time was kicked out of the car, too. Its shirt was caught in the door, making it drag along with the day. Mika looked at her electronic ID. It was 10. That… was a long shower. Mika’s fingers were shriveled from the water. However, this information meant nothing to Mika now. All that mattered was… Mika glanced at her bed side table and noticed the four monocoins she placed there after the trial. She snagged those golden coins before strutting out of her dorm.
The time between going to the leaving the room and reaching the monomachine stretched on for hours. Every step through the dorm hall lasted a minute. After reaching the elevator and clicking the button to reach the lounge, the trip which flew by instantaneously before lagged behind for its own duration of time. And finally, the trip from the lounge to the tunnel and from there into the warehouse: Mika could recite with great detail every moment and every step. The actual trip was no less than 10-15 minutes, but time dragged behind on the pavement as the vehicle continued on its trip.
Mika stood in front of the monomachine, intimidated by its structure. She stepped closer. Step by step she neared the object. Once within inches of it, Mika banged on the metallic machine. She pounded and kicked and beat it, yet not a dent impacted the surface. Sounds of rumbling and crashing objects inside were audible. With one final strike, Mika punched the Monobear face on the machine and slid down to the floor.
“Bring them back… PLEASE! I-I-I’ll do anything!” She scrambled through her pockets to retrieve her monocoins. “How about these!? What about it, Monobear!? Take these!” Mika rose once more to her feet to bash each coin into the machine, waiting for the machine to process it and give her what she wants. “Why couldn’t’ve been me!? Why don’t you take me!?” Mika’s legs gave in and she collapsed to the cold floor once again. She pulled and ripped at her hair as if to focus the pain on something else. None of the hurt in her chest was lifted. The only thing to perk was her ears at the sound of someone approaching.
