We watched the show drag out Julian’s death for weeks and have every wrong he ever did thrown in his face but when Sonny “dies” we get everyone singing his praises and instead of getting haunted by the ghosts of those he killed/got killed like Julian he he gets Mike? That’s some bs

Wow 👏 today's episode was so good. I know a lot of people were annoyed with how they dragged out the Mike Corbin storyline, but I seriously can't blame them. This is perhaps one of their best storylines they've done in a really long time. Mike Corbin wasn't a random guy they just placed in the show for Sonny. He was a constant off and on who worked at Kelly's until 2010. I just went back and rewatched old clips of him and Sonny.
Their relationship has always been so difficult, but Sonny has always made sure his dad was taken care of and was apart of his kids lives even while he was angry at him.
Maurice and Max did such a fantastic job.
I know I wanted to see Kristina say goodbye to her grandfather, but I'm really glad they focused more on the father/son relationship more. I think it was more important and I'm sure we will see Kristina come in for the funeral.... hopefully....
I'm also really happy they brought Alicia back to play Courtney even if it was for just a few minutes. It was so touching and realistic how Sonny had to leave them room for Mike to be able to let go. Ugh, I'm going to cry now.
