A while back, Bento Box Entertainment featured an amazing artist named: Mike Lucido (http://www.thatlucidokid.com/blog) who did an amazing painting of Bob Belcher from Bob's Burgers. Today, he has allowed us to feature another wonderful painting of Louise accompanied by an incredible crocheted doll of Bob from his friend Jenny Guan! Great job guys!
Here at Bento Box Entertainment, we are going to start featuring up and coming artists on our fan page. Several fans take the time to create and send us amazing pieces of creative “Bob's Bob’s Burgers” themed fan art. One artist that stood out amongst the crowd and caught our eye is: Mike Lucido! He is the painter of the magnificent creation we posted last Thursday (see above) titled “El’ Bob-O.” We tracked him down and asked him a few questions about his art; along the way, we discovered that in addition to art and Bob’s Burgers he is 23 years old from Reno-NV, he likes hitting the river, swimming in Tahoe with his fellow amigos, and going on random adventures…everywhere! Bento Box Entertainment: What inspires you to paint? Mike Lucido: What inspires me most is animation and cartoons! I love the clean look of solid colors with a black outline. BBE: What type of painting supplies do you use/recommend to other artists/painters? ML: My paint of choice is Apple Barrel acrylic paint. It’s considered a craft paint, but that’s rubbish! It goes on smooth and the colors are brilliant! BBE: Tell us about an exiting moment that happened to you while either in school or creating one of your projects? ML: Having my painting seen by the team behind Bob's Burgers just toped all my other exciting stories. This right here makes me happy! I love the anticipation of not knowing where my next painting might take me. Its so much fun! BBE: Who is your favorite character on the show Bob's Burgers? ML: Choosing a favorite character from Bob's Burgers is tough one!...But overall I think Teddy and Louise take the cake….I mean buns! BBE: What is your favorite episode so far from Bob's Burgers? ML: I can't tell you how many times I've watched "Bad Tina".. I couldn't even type that just now without laughing about it! It’s Hilarious! Also Lets not forget about "Art Crawl." " I can only paint the truth!" hahaha! So there you have it folks! Our first featured up and coming artist!
