It’s been on my mind recently, but it can be presumed that most of Akira’s combat skills come from inheriting Amon's own power after the fusion, so it seems he doesn’t need to learn but have thought of how much of an actual beast he’d be if he actually practiced martial arts. I’m using Grimoire as an example but if he can beat that many people as just brawler, then he’d be on a whole other level if he had legitimate learned martial art skills. Also thought of him still being relatively slim and skinny after the fusion but could gain a more muscular build from actually exercising. Though the problem being that since he's essentially superhuman, it's hard to find an activity that keeps him engaged and gives back enough skill.

Some other mentions is when he and Dorango boxed for a bit in the Toei anime which ends up being a tie(as well as just generally fighting hand to hand when compared to the manga) and the iconic devil run Akira does in Crybaby (which technically showed up in the movie first).

There’s also Grimoire Miki herself training for a bit which helps her a lot down the road when she becomes a Devilman who uses a flaming sword.

Had also remembered Tachibana where we see his boxing skills through his devil form. Funny enough his design is taken from one of the concept designs for Devilman early on before the final looks we have to this day.

Probably a major example is Jun from Lady, least in the manga, where its shown that she has the skills to be an Olympic athlete and generally shown to pump iron a lot, and that when she was already human (though her being sports apparently helped keep her beast side in check). There’s also a scene where she pretty much obliterates a punching bag thats filled with 264 pounds of sand.
