“Blood. Death. Decay. Brother of Xot. Mil'rot took and gave as he saw fit throughout The Lands. He was overpowered during a holy crusade, struck down, stabbed through his heart and left to suffer the same fate so many of his victims had faced before him.
Eternal slumber will not stop him however. His followers refused to let him truly die and continued to perform in his name. In the hopes that they will revive the god once more. Even now, his remains are slowly regenerating and reforming.”
Before the first age, Mil’rot gifted the creations within The Lands the gift of mortality, For he felt that the world had become too stagnant. This would help usher in new ages, new discoveries and promote change throughout the world.
Many teenagers often claim to worship Mil’rot, mostly as an act of rebellion against their parents. Some mortals worship the dead god as they understand how important death is within ones life. And others, worship Mil’rot, performing within cults to one day bring back the god in order to incite more chaos within the world.
Wars have been fought in his name, on both sides. In fact it was an ancient war where he was struck down. The legends vary as to who it was that performed the final blow. Some say his brother Xot, some say it was a giant being from Etelherniohet, and others claim that it was a mortal who had stolen a sword from Volis’ armory.
His remains are said to exist somewhere within the world, yet hidden from the naked eye. Ever so slowly, his body is being reformed and animated. Trapped in a loop of endlessly dying and endlessly being revived once more.
