EVA holds steady after a mild weekly lift
EVA was little changed through the latest week, keeping procurement comparisons stable after earlier quarter movement. Indian EVA prices were assessed at Rs 125/kg on Feb 6, up Rs 1/kg from Rs 124/kg a week earlier, and Rs 2/kg above the nearest fortnight marker at Rs 123/kg, signalling modest firming without a shift in volatility.
The month view shows the latest level Rs 3/kg above the early-January print near Rs 122/kg. In contrast, the three-month comparison sits lower versus the early-November reference near Rs 133/kg, leaving the latest assessment down about Rs 8/kg on that view. Over the past 90 days, the recent high was around Rs 133/kg and the low was near Rs 121/kg, and volatility has eased since the earlier quarter peak. EVA prices in India are now nearer the three-month low than the peak, keeping recent reference points clear for procurement planning.
On a six-month comparison, the series is flat versus the early-August reference at Rs 125/kg, while the year-on-year line shows the latest assessment below the early-February 2025 print near Rs 134/kg. Indian EVA prices therefore remain framed by Rs 121/kg and Rs 133/kg as the clearest recent markers in the domestic market this week, EVA prices, EVA market, mild weekly lift, price stability, polymer trends.
