It's about a land overrun by poisonous bramble that spreads rapidly as people use magic. There are four parts, each following different residents of a city that struggles to keep the bramble at bay. I friggen love the world that was created. I need more! I also would have loved a map of the city and the...continent? I'll settle for the awesome cover art though. The characters are engrossing and the world development has depth but leaves plenty that I have questions about. More thoughts on my blog! I highly recommend this one if you like fantasy.
