Millwright is a high-precision skilled tradesperson or craftsman, who installs, reassembles, repairs dismantles & moves machinery in construction sites, power plants and factories. The main function of a millwright in the construction of filling mills, flour mills, paper mills & sawmills powered by wind or water.
Millwright Activity:Millwright’s activities consist of various principles. Some of the commonly followed and most important principles are listed below:
Rebuild and Install Machines.
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
Maintenance as required
Operating Technical Machines.
Keeping the maintenance department clean and safe.
RECRUITING MILLWRIGHTSSkills and Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of verifiable maintenance experience.
Themillwrightsable to work safely in the production environment which Requires Physical fitness, mostly millwright will bend stretch and stand for a long period, so it requires physical fitness.
Proficient with reading, writing, and basic mathematical skills relating to the job, function or assignment.
Troubleshooting equipment and performing machine repair in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be knowledgeable with hydraulic pumps and motors as well as other mechanical systems.
Must be experienced using a welder (arc & wire), cutting torch, and proficient in the use of all shop tools
Must be capable of working safely and continuously promoting safe work practices.
Responsibilities
Assembling and installing the machines when required
Providing regular or annual maintenance and repair work to industrial machines.
Dismantling and replacing old machines with newer and updated models when required.
Cleaning, greasing, and lubricating individual pieces as required

SalaryThe Average salary of a Millwright Job starts from $21 to $36 /Per Hour (Or annually about $44,000 to $76,000) with a high end of the scale for experienced workers. The salary also increases based on the employee's experience.
