There were some actual occasions when Audrey picked up around the apartment and that was always when she had company over. She and Zoe had an agreement that they would clean on alternating weeks, but Audrey’s week always seemed to have some issue with it. She was working on it. Really. In fact, when Milo came over to convince her to watch Ancient Aliens with him, she’d had enough with the same three pieces of evidence used over and over that she decided Wow, now is a really great time to clean up. She picked through all the dishes in the living room and toppled them over to the sink, starting to get the dishwater ready before calling across the room from the small galley kitchen. “Hey, Milo, can you grab the dishes from the bedrooms for me?”
