Like most pirate spiders, this species feeds primarily on other spiders. Found throughout Europe.

Bug of the Day - Arachtober!
One from way back in the archives, 2007, but I just managed to get it identified as a pirate spider, Mimetus sp. You can tell it’s a pirate spider because of its eyepatch ;-).
