Hi! I am Coco. Mimi's friend who was lucky enough to meet her irl. I know I am not the only one who wants to meet that lovely ghost. Before I came I was so nervous, I was literally going to meet a person that I was a big fan of, that i knew for a year but never saw irl, in a whole different country where I didn't understand the language! She is always caring and sweet online, for a moment I even had this bad thought "can a human being really be like that in real life ?". I was scared and very stressed when the plane landed (late, just to add a pinch of stress to the cake). But once I saw her, she recognized me in less than a second and came running with open arms. After this it was like I bathed in a water that washes away all doubts. However, I was wondering if her family would accept me. I have known her for a year now, but my mother never was a fan of my online interactions in general so maybe her parents were the same?? You know I am just a mere internet friend. Her dad was the first to warmly welcome me. When Mimi wanted to sit in the front seat he said "Go sit in the backseat next to Coco. That will help her relax." Once arrived at her home, her mom opened the door with a big smile and used whatever foreign words she knew to express how happy she was to meet me. Her sister was very friendly too. I think I haven't been hugged so much in my entire lifetime. Also a bonus, their cooking is SOOOOOOO yummy!!! It is no joke. I am sure I will go back rolling to my country 😂😂 I also met her aunts and uncles. Everyone was so open to the idea that we loved BTS. I was shocked especially that my mom doesn't really accept them or care about my interests. Mimi's mom didn't stop saying jungkook's name whenever she could, her dad compared me to Yoongi and her sis knows all the lyrics by heart. Her two male cousins were so open to the idea of hearing Bangtan and even complimented them. Mimi was kind not by chance, but because she was raised in an environment that is soooo loving. Her parents gifted me limited edition traditional clothes. Her aunt gave me a gift too. Wherever we went there was SO. MUCH. FOOD. I swear you would think they are holding a party each time. I was like "but we're 6 and here there's enough food for 20 people what???". Mimi said it is just their way to express how happy they are to see us. We went to a lot of cool places. (And saw a lot of cute stray animals, but I couldn't touch them so I felt a bit sad, but they were still cute) It looked so Magical. Mimi also was all the time asking me if I was alright and at ease and she was holding my hand to make me feel secure at all time when there were a lot of people. I am writing these lines to tell you all as someone who met Mimi that she is not really a ghost but an angel! (But don't tell anyone) I am SO glad I made the decision to travel to see her. These might be some of the happiest moments I had in a while. Please love and protect this kind soul at all costs, she's so precious to me. I met a whole new family 💜💜💜
