We've never been to the Salt Plains before, even though it is only about an hour away from where we live. It was weird, wet, stinky and kinda cool. Getting to the "dig site" was an adventure in itself! We found lots of small crystals, and met some people who brought proper tools and found large ones. A very sweet lady gave me a nice one she had found.
