As our state government and its federal representatives completely abandon Minas Gerais, unexpectedly heavy rains have hit our state once again. The cities of Juiz de Fora, Ubá, Matias Barbosa, and Senador Firmino have been hit the hardest, their city centres turned into truly post-apocalyptic scenes.

Whil the donation links to the mostly white state of Rio Grande do Sul are still up, our state is apparently doing too well to merit the attention of the Red Cross, or of our own governor.
