anger, mostly--anger over the fact that this wasn’t something they could control ; anger over the fact that tegan wanted to be dead but it was this other person instead. that anger dissipates after a while, however, followed by soul-crushing grief, then acceptance over the fact that death is natural.
33: concept of home and family?
home isn’t a real place. sure, you can have places that you grow up & places that you live, but are they truly a home? family makes those places a home. you have somebody to come home to--usually two or three ; a home with their things mixed in with yours. you can have a house, but a family makes it a home.
36: what makes them feel guilty?
they don’t feel guilt, but do they understand the concept of guilt. sure, tegan’s had plenty of opportunities to feel guilty, but it doesn’t ruffle their feathers. no feelings of guilt makes things a whole lot easier than having it weigh on your conscience.
