#witchwithwellness mini challenge day 6 -Witch Goals- . . I started practicing at a time when I felt no connection to the world around me. It's something I use to try and find balance in life, and my goals are simply to continue learning and growing. The more time passes the more it's becoming second nature. . . I'm in it for the long haul and I don't mind that my skills are slow coming. I'd rather take my time. . . Something I haven't played around with properly yet is tarot so that's on the list. I have it in my head that I was to make my own deck though. Researching each card and creating something beautiful for each one. (Think that may take some time!) . . . My Journey So Far...

I discovered witchcraft long ago, honestly... But only recently began to practice it. I refer to myself as a baby witch. I don’t claim to be Wiccan, etc. I feel I am mostly eclectic, although I do love to learn new things. I am attracted to sigils, crystals, cards, herbs, candle magick, teas... I haven’t practiced very many in depth spells really, just small things. I love the feeling you get when you put your heart and soul into The Craft. It’s like being a newborn baby again. 

I have a few friends who are witches as well, and I love that I can go to them for tips and things. I love going with what my heart and intuition tells me, as far as spells, etc. I’ve become more aware of my surroundings, both Earth and animal. I’ve noticed I am more sensitive to my surroundings as well. I help Earth and it’s creatures as much as I can. I smile at the sun, and thank the dark weather for it’s gift of rain. 

I’m nowhere near fully knowledgeable, but that’s also what I love about The Craft. There’s CONSTANT learning to do, always... and I look forward to the many days ahead.
