After everything that had happened, everything that had changed, Rei wasn’t entirely sure how he ought to go about interacting with Kirari. Years of hate and resentment didn’t go away immediately, even if he had come to realize that his emotions were being misled by his childish misunderstanding. In truth, the last thing he expected was for her to allow him to return to the Clan. Part of him didn’t want it, but the rest of him was strangely at peace.
Still, that did leave a question... Glancing up from the paper before him, the brunette turned clear hazel eyes (peering out from behind his glasses; not even freedom could correct his horrendous nearsightedness) to meet the implacable icy blue gaze that belonged to the current Student Body President and Head of he Hundred Devouring Families. He had never been this close to Kirari before, at least not without feeling uncomfortable, but that wasn’t what was on his mind.
“Miss Kirari,” as always, he pitched his voice low, "why... are you doing this?”
