Check it out: "For the past few months I have been attempting to hold on to a few things that God has clearly wanted me to relinquish into His possession. At first I couldn’t understand why I was being asked to give them up. Did I do something to anger Him? Was it because He didn’t want me to be happy? It was neither of the two, but those are common conclusions that we all quickly jump to concerning the Lord. In my quiet time, He shared with me that it was simply because He was, & still is, jealous for me & my time. Whether it be our relationships, plans, or dreams there comes a season in all of our lives were we are called to sacrifice something that we hold dear to us. While it may be a hard concept to fully understand, we must keep in mind that our sacrifices cannot compare to the blessings that the Lord is longing to bestow upon us. On this #mindovermattermonday I encourage you to let go of those “things” that God is asking you to give up. He can’t place something new in full hands.
